1. The Best Italian

In the mood for something you can’t find everywhere? The Best Italian is a local restaurant in Gatlinburg that is a local and visitor favorite! Everything on their menu is made fresh. Some of the stars of their menu include their garlic knots, calzones, pizza, chicken parmesan, and more. They have delicious cheesecake slices, that you can’t pass up when you visit! The Best Italian is less than a five minute walk from our hotel in downtown Gatlinburg. On a pretty day outside you can even enjoy your meal on the outside patio that is beside a river!

2. TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays is a classic lunch or dinner staple when you are looking for tasty American food. Friday’s is great to grab a few appetizers, a drink, and watch a game. The location in Gatlinburg has a large bar area that is perfect for you and your friends or family to relax and eat at. They even offer outdoor seating! You can find menu items like burgers, fried shrimp, wings, salads, and more! Some of the stars of their menu are dishes that feature Jack Daniels sauces like their Jack Daniel’s Chicken Strips. TGI Friday’s is located almost across the street from our hotel.

3. Howard’s Steakhouse

Howard’s Steakhouse is another great local find! The steakhouse hand-breads their own chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and more. They also make their own sauces, gravies, and more! Their steakhouse is a great place to have a juicy steak! Their steaks are large and cooked exactly how like and served with delicious sides of your choice! Howard’s has a back patio that is great to enjoy on a sunny day. You can even bring your pets if you plan to eat outside on the patio!

4. Mellow Mushroom

If you’re in the mood for pizza Mellow Mushroom is a fantastic place to have a pie! You can find over twenty toppings, so go as basic or as dressed up as you want! Their crusts are multi-grain and hand-tossed. Mellow Mushroom even offers gluten free pizzas that taste just as good as a normal crust. What goes great with pizza? Beer! “Mellow,” has a large selection of craft and domestic beers that you can pair with your pizza. Mellow Mushroom is less than a than minute walk from our hotel in downtown Gatlinburg.

5. Calhoun’s

Calhoun’s makes a wonderful date night restaurant! The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and decorated in simple dark, rich colors. They are known for their steaks being grilled over an oak charred fire. If you’re not in the mood for steak, Calhoun’s offers award winning barbeque! Moreover, you can find other items like chicken, salads, and more! The Calhoun’s in Gatlinburg has a beautiful water wheel in front that is great for a picture spot.
